Started approximately eighty-five years ago as a construction company, A. Kerzner Inc. completed numerous projects throughout New Jersey. Projects included several turn-key projects for Fortune 500 Corporations.

Kerzner Associates was formed in 1982. It is a New Jersey Limited Partnership. The managing partner, Irving Kerzner is Chairman and still active in A. Kerzner, Inc., a General Construction Company, which has been in existence for over eighty-five years. Kerzner Associates developed and owned a 30,000 sq ft building in Jersey City, NJ as well as a 72,000 sq ft building in Edison, NJ. Sandy Kerzner handles the leasing and management of the properties. He has been involved in the real estate business, both as broker and owner for over thirty-three years.
In 1982, Kerzner Associates purchased approximately fifty-seven acres, comprised of numerous parcels in Rockaway Township. One of the parcels purchased was developed into a highly successful 48,000 sq ft multi-tenant building.
Kerzner Associates purchased a forty-nine acre site in Cranbury Township, fronting the NJ Turnpike from Cities Service in 1983. Formerly a farm, this land was unimproved without utilities. During the next several years, Kerzner Associates received subdivision approval and brought all necessary utilities to the site, called Eight-A Corporate Centre. This was the first development of this kind in Cranbury Township. Presently, there are nine buildings constructed by A. Kerzner, Inc. and managed by Kerzner Associates, ranging in size from 54,000 to 101,000 sq ft. The leasing of these buildings has been very successful. These buildings offer exceptional height, together with an abundance of loading, coupled with prime access to Exit 8A of the NJ Turnpike and an excellent environment.
In 1986, Kerzner Associates purchased a fourteen-acre site, which is adjacent to their original purchase. This was joined with the fourty-nine acres to give Eight-A Corporate Centre greater Turnpike visibility and access from two streets.
Kerzner Associates also constructed two 6,000 sq ft office buildings on an eighteen-acre parcel they purchased in 1985 on Rt 130 in Cranbury. The project, named Cranbury Gates and previously zoned residential, was rezoned for professional offices. The two buildings are one story, consisting of 6,000 sq ft with subdivisions as low as 600 sq ft. The total build out is approx. 72,000 sq ft.
On May 1, 1996, Kerzner Associates sold their Jersey City location and moved into new offices, which they had constructed at 4 Corporate Dr., Cranbury. Their excellent relationship with brokers and prime locations in which the projects are developed will enhance their future success.
